With this option, your Asep-Tec filler can handle closed aseptically blown bottles. Each bottle row has a dedicated trimmer. After external sterilization,  the neck cutting unit trims the bottle and removes the scrap. A laser sensor ensures that problem bottles are automatically ejected from the filler. The neck trimmer integrates fully with the Asep-Tec’s computer control system. This option can be bypassed so that the filler can also handle open neck bottles.

Aseptic Neck Trimmer

The PC-controlled integrated neck trimmer operates on both open and closed aseptic bottles. After external sterilization in the filler, the bottles are transported to the aseptic neck trimmers. Every bottle row has its own neck trimmer. A cutting unit scans the bottle’s cutting edge both horizontally and vertically using a guide. The cutting unit may be rotated 360 degrees, it can cut off scrap and remove it automatically. A laser sensor detection system also automatically removes badly cut heads and bottles from the filler. Note: Non-neck trimmed bottles may off course by-pass the neck trimmer units.

Asep-Tec general improvements

The design has also been broadened with a model that  increases capacity to 24.000 bottles an hour. There is now also a type specially equipped to process 2 litre “jugs” for milk products with an extra long shelf life (ESL++) with a capacity of circa 10.000 per hour.
