Marel Food Systems and Stork N.V. announce that they have entered into an agreement on the acquisition of the Stork Food Systems division of Stork N.V. The companies expect the transaction to be closed within several months, subject to anti-trust clearance and other customary closing conditions. Until then both companies will continue to operate independently as before.

We have begun the task of renewing our brochures. To date two of our brochures are available in the new style in various languages.

The standard aluminium cap seal unit of the Asep-Tec can be replaced by a screw cap unit. This unit includes a cap sterilization station.

With this option, your Asep-Tec filler can handle closed aseptically blown bottles. Each bottle row has a dedicated trimmer. After external sterilization,  the neck cutting unit trims the bottle and removes the scrap. A laser sensor ensures that problem bottles are automatically ejected from the filler. The neck trimmer integrates fully with the Asep-Tec’s computer control system. This option can be bypassed so that the filler can also handle open neck bottles.

Careful analyses of the long term performance of the existing fillers have lead to an improvement programme for the new fillers with special emphasis on further increases in efficiency and reduction of product loss on change-over and on increased hygiene in the machine. This has lead to a new generation of Ultraclean filling machines
