What should our appraoch be to longlife shelf stable products?
Answer:
The production of long extended products may be very rewarding from an economical point of view, as benefits are provided for the consumer, the shopkeeper and the manufacturer of dairy products. Correct UHT treatment, sterile filling and a good quality plastic bottle form a trinity. And each of the three elements of the trinity must have the required quality, because without it there can never be any guarantee of a long-life dairy product.
Stork Food & Dairy Systems knows better than anyone else the demands made on a sterile process and has built its products on that process accordingly. In the test laboratories of Stork in the Netherlands and the USA clients may have their products and packaging tested. It is possible to have sample batches made with which flavour and marketing evaluations may be conducted. This provides the clients of Stork the assurance that the product, when introduced to the market, effectively measures up to the expectations.
