What do I need for a ESL filling line? |
Answer: The ESL line comprises the following operations: the product is subjected to a heat treatment (ultra-high pasteurisation process) in a Sterideal tubular heat exchanger and packaged. The latter may optionally be procured from a bottle supplier or manufactured in-plant with Stork Blow-Moulding equipment, which offers the possibility of giving the bottles a unique appearance. Depending upon the components installed on the line, the product can be filled in open, closed or semi-closed bottles. The type of filling machine is selected depending on the required shelf life: a rotary High Hygienic or Ultra Clean Dairyfill or linear aseptic filler. Stork’s rotary fillers can be equipped with a rinser for rinsing the bottles before filling. These fillers can also be combined with a capper for applying foil caps and/or screw caps. Labellers and inspection and packaging units can be installed at the end of the line to complete the process.
